Our specialties are by the Lord’s great making.Everyone is gifted in something.You should know your specialties, which is your strength.Some are good in keeping the house extra neat.Some very good at cooking.Some very good at hospitality.Some at cheerful giving.This widow of Zarephath was gifted in hospitality though she was a widow and the resources were almost done.It worked.Keep your specialties alive at your home too.
  2. To some, God sends His servants and to some, God will not send His servants.May be, they would have spoken ill of God’s Servants or ignored them.When a Servant of God or their counsel, comes to your home, ‘You are chosen and blessed’- The Great Man of God, Elijah was sent to this widow.Was it not a Heavenly plan and the Happy Secret?
  3. When God’s visitations comes, through His Word, or through His Messages, or through His Servants, or in Prayer, never under estimate that your future will be poor and poorest.Don’t be afraid! God’s visitation will bless you! Don’t look at today’s problems, struggles or nothingness.The widow had only little flour in a jar and a little oil in a jug.God’s Word or Message or Plans will remove all your emptiness when you obey.Obey at any cost!

Abundance is from our Lord,our Maker!.Abundance in the Spirit, abundance in all your relationships, and abundance at your Happy Home Living will be there.God first and God’s kingdom’s business next.Let this be your Daily Rule in your Family Living.The first cake was given to Elijah and he guided it!.First portions to the Lord.Have you given your First Fruits of your salary to the Lord?.First hour?.First day of the week?.(etc.)

Have you ever thought that you can be a blessing for all your dear ones?.That is possible.The one who honors God has the power to be a source of blessings to his or her Dad or Mom, husband or wife, children or grand-children, and even many more!.Remember this story often!.The widow of Zarepheth who was on the edge of her living, became a bread provider to all her dear ones.This happned when Elijah gave the opportunity of the first cake to be given to him.Further, he was given a room in the upstairs.All over the country there was famine, but within her house, there was plenty.The God in the Bible is the God who provides and wants to bless all your dear and near ones
  6. Challenges may occur or crisis may come in your life.Then, have a reminder of your short comings and sinful life which you lived away for the Lord.For anything which goes beyond our limit, let us check our own life.God will show us where we failed, where we went astray, and where we really hurt God.Then, it is the real time of purification.At the Widow’s house, where Elijah was staying, the little boy became sick and breathed his last breath.This is the time the widow cried about her past sins.Let there be times and seasons to cleanse our heart and come closer to our Lord,as crisis or challenges occurs.This is possible to you.
  7. God can revive His chosen ones when they pass though crisis.He opens a way to come out of it.Revival is coming to the First love or original state of Spiritual condition.When the boy died, Elijah took him to his room, prayed 3 times, and revived him.What a great miracle!.Bring all your worries!.Bring all your cares! Bring all your afflictions with a broken and contrite heart.Let the Lord of Elijah handle it!.God will revive you as you go through this crisis, may it be sickness, at work, broken relationships, financial crisis, or any hopeless condition.God is available.Take time to come closer to Him! Hand over your worries to Him.He is able to revive you and fill you with His joy of salvation.
