  1. We long for God’s Blessings. God Blesses any one who comes to Him, in a spl.way. The Greatest Blessing is living with the Living Lord. This is possible. At,home,specially,when the Husband & Wife knows the Living Lord & walk closer with Him,then the Great Peace of God prevails at their lives & homes too. His Presence will be vivid. God of the Bible is the Prince of Peace. The meaning of Zechariah is: Whom God Remembers & that of Elisabeth is: Oath of God. Both,to the surprise of their names,had a closer walk with the Maker. Knowing the Lord,specially the Husband & Wife,is the Greatest Blessing for the family. God can walk in their Homes & talk as He talked with Adam & Eve. Know Jesus. Know Peace. That is the Blessed Family. Be blessed !
  2. When you were a Child,do you remember the joy your Parents had when you obeyed them. Obedience to the Parent’s expectation brings a cordial relationship and a happy home atmosphere. You may live in a well developed Country or under developed Country,.Wherever you are,you will be safe with the rules of the Land. Obedience to Rules brings safety always as well as a peace of mind. When God’s Word is lived by you,you are the Blessed Person. Zechariah & Elisabeth obeyed to all the Commandments of the Old Testament. What God expected from them, like Keeping the Sabbath,Loving the neighbour,Forgiving others,Honouring the Parents,not Coveting others property,paying tithe,Loving the Lord & Lord alone etc. What you have learnt from the Bible be loyal & be Obedient. Obeying to God’s Word makes the Home Living happy. Read & obey. God’s Word will make you Blessed !
  3. Have you had the Joy of serving some one in need?. That word: ‘Thank you’ by that person would have made you feel that your service was received & recognised. In a similar way,serving the Maker makes one Glad because the Lord will say: Well done,good & faithful servant. Serving the Lord is Great & Blessed. Zechariah & Elisabeth didn’t have children. Even then,Zechariah served the Lord at the temple as a Priest. He prayed for other People at the temple,but his Prayer was delayed till then. His continuation at the Temple service was an wonderful means of Happiness. Friend,Are you just doing your work and that of your Family alone? . Or do you have a part in God’s Work?. You are Gifted. Your Spiritual Gifts when put into use,makes you feel happy that you are a recognised person by your Community & God Himself. When some one does something for God’s Kingdom.The ‘ well done’ becomes a honour to that person which is a Blessing. Be a Soul-winner ! Be a Kingdom builder ! Be an Extra Mile goer. Be an Acquilla & Priscilla ! As a Couple get involved in your Church Ministry & in some Mission work too !
  4. What will happen if there is no compass for a Ship & a Radar system for a Plane?. It can not move further. We need light for our next step. We should know where to go. And when to go. What to do . And how to do things. All these are guided by our knowledge,experiences & intution too. What we plan may go wrong. But what God Guides & God plans will never go wrong. It will be Beautiful & Perfect. When Zechariah was serving at the temple,an Angel appeared to Zechariah & told him that he is going to have a Son . And his name will be John. What a Great Heavenly Guidance !. There is a beautiful Guiding Verse in Isaiah 30:21
  5. ” Whether you turn to the right or to the left,your ears will hear a voice behind you saying:This is the way,walk in it”What a Great Guiding God is our God !. Your ears will hear. This will be the Strong Guiding factor. When a Family gets God’s guidance for small or bigger decisions, this will be an wonderful blessing. Enjoy this Wonderful Guidance of God !. Our Lord guides Daily if you wait on Him ! Be blessed with His guidance !
  6. Bible talks about Prayers that were answered at once. Some Prayers,much delayed. And some prayers for which the answers were: No. When we pray for our needs,and if it gets delayed ,we become frustrated. And at one point,we stop praying, thinking that it will not happen. Prayers answered after so many years are also noted through out the Bible. Some impossiblities are answered after much Persistent Prayers and after much delay. Zechariah & Elisabeth couldn’t have Children because she was barren & much old in age. But they would have continued their Prayer for this immpossiblity. Dear Friend,Is your Prayer much,much delayed. ? Is it a need for you & for your family?. Then,press on. God will Honour your asking. Ask in Faith & ask with a Greatful heart. Very costly things comes much delayed. Don’t give up. Write down in a prayer note & pray weekly. Your Prayers will bring Heavenly Blessings even after so many years. That is also a Blessed Family Feature !
  7. When God gives small small signs for His Great Plans,it makes the family Joyous. God can use anything to convey His Heavenly directions. God’s own should keep their eyes wide open. HE speaks through his written Word,through His small mild Voice,through Prayers & through His Messages too. At times, His way of leading may be little different. These dealings clearly conveys some meanings appropriate to us. Zechariah had an encounter with the Angel Gabriel,became dumb,the Old & barren Elisabeth became pregnant,when Mary visited her & greeted her the Baby in the womb leaped & at the birth of John,when he was named, Zechariah became perfectly alright and spoke after so many months. What Great meaningful signs ! All given by God to lead them in an wondrous way ! Dear Friend,Has the Lord shown you small signs in your Personal Life,at Home,at Office,at health & even at Ministry God has given you ? . Then it will happen one day ! Be Bold ! Move on ! You are very precious to our Lord & your family too. God shows signs for Bigger happenings. Blessed is the family who gets signs from Heaven. It makes the Family to Rejoice !
  8. Blessed Families Children will be Blessed. They will be taught & trained by the Parents even from birth & childhood. Parents will be bringing the Children in discipline to-gether. God gives Children to the Parents with Heavenly plans. They are not by chance. Never ! God Plans & want to impart that plans to the Parents if they ask. It’s the Parent’s responsiblity to sit & talk about their Children’s bringing-up methods. The Children should love the Lord and grow in God’s Grace & favour too. The Parents who you love the Lord,their Children will be blessed. Never under estimate them. They will be for Signs & Symbols by the Lord & for the Lord. They will be at the top. And Great will be their Peace too. Zechariah & Elisabeth’s son,John was Great from birth till the end. He was a fore-runner for Jesus Christ. He baptised the Son of God,Jesus. John the Baptist brought a revival in Judea & Jerusalem. Friend,Your Children will be Great & Mighty. Encourage them. Read good books about Rearing up of Children & attend Seminars. Your Children are Blessed with God’s great plans. Be careful & be Prayerful to bring them up in God’s Grace & God’s plans ! We Bless your Children !
