SHALOM FAMILY ENRICHMENT MISSION DISCIPLESHIP CAMP 13 & 14 SEPTEMBER 2024

On 13-9-2024 at 9pm we reached SU TN north camp centre which is located in Manimangalam. We had dinner and Mrs. Esther Ravichandran gave instructions to the campers and we left for bedtime.

 

Day 1:

On 14-9-2024, our young girls helped in kitchen chores after which we spent Quiet time with God.

At 9am Mrs. Sweetlyn Baker conducted an interesting activity to arrange the given sequence in correct order. After an interesting action song led by our Shalom leaders, Mrs Ebby Jeevaraj gave a talk on the

topic “Devotion on Holy Spirit”. We had a short tea break and then Mrs. Sweetlyn Baker conducted an activity followed by practical talk. We had lunch and then Mrs. Sweetlyn Baker led an interesting activity. Mrs. Ebby Jeevaraj gave talk 3 on the topic “தேவனை எப்படி பார் க்கிறீர்கள்?”. We went for tea break and then after a wonderful worship session we watched a video of the Life of Sarah Tucker.               Ms. Jem led the Sandhya session on the topic “Delegation of Disciple” in which she gave wonderful insights of the Life of Josiah after which we had commitment time where all the young girls surrendered their life to God wholeheartedly.

After dinner Aunty Gnanam Rajasingh led the prayer session in praying for all the campers. And the final talk for the day was done by Mrs. Sweetlyn Baker regarding “The case for marriage”.

Day 2:

On 15/09/2024, early in the morning, all the campers spent their Quiet time with God. After breakfast we got ready for the Sunday service which we had in our camp centre. Worship, testimony time and prayer time was wonderfully organised by our Shalom leaders and Mrs. Ebby Jeevaraj  shared the message on the topic “பெலன் தரும் ஆவியானவர் அன்றும் இன்றும்… ”.

We had a short tea break and the Mrs. Sweetlyn Baker conducted an interesting activity which all the campers enjoyed by actively participating in that.

 

Ms. Jem shared the talk on the topic “Dividend of Disciples”. After lunch, Dr. Gnanam Rajasingh shared the activities of Shalom family enrichment mission and gave gifts to the speakers.

Mrs. Esther Ravichandran led the testimony session in which all the campers shared their feedback for the Glory of God. And finally, Aunty Gnanam Rajasingh did the commitment prayer and blessed everyone. Then we cleaned the hall and packed all our things and left camp centre at 5:30pm.

This camp enhanced our knowledge about our Lord & the scriptures, and it encouraged all the campers to do great things for God in our own life.
